As the information is not on the website we had to research to find out what would be the correct flanges for the pump.  What we found was that currently the recommendation is that the pump be equipped with 2" 600 lbs ANSI suction flanges and 2" 150 lbs ANSI discharge flanges. We do not believe that the flanges are cast with the steel bodies any longer, but are instead welded and machined on to a steel billet after the finis work is done on the billet itself. &lt;br For the past few years it was enough for most any company to have a website posted with a little bit of information that would generate sales leads and business opportunities for those looking. While our websites have not lost their importance, they often do not encourage communications among peers. I hope to change that with this Blog.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While I am not an expert at "blogging", I do recognize that it has powerful implications for individuals to connect with those in simalar industries who would otherwise never meet. Blogging can be used for questions and answer, job postings, buying and selling as well as publishing specific and general information. In short, blogging can be used for whatever you decide to use it for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't really have a vision of what this Blog should look like. It is more of an organic experiment to see how it may evolve and how people will use it.&lt;br /&gt;I am open to any suggestions about content postings and other uses. This forum should belong to everyone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I start this with an invitation for you to use this tool, I do so without any restrictions. I only ask that you be polite and professional. Name calling, profanity and dishonesty should not be posted. What happens from here will be largely up to you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks for your participation.
